Paper perfection

As I was returning from a visit to my latest interior design project in Soho, I stumbled upon a gem of a shop called Shepherds Falkiners in Holborn. I felt as though I had discovered a treasure trove of pattern design, even though Shepherds Falkiners is actually a book binding store. Inside this wooden panelled cornucopia of wonderfulness were some of the most beautiful printed papers I have ever seen. You can buy sheets of printed papers from Japan, Italy, England and France for as little as £3 each in a kaleidascope of colours and patterns. I am a bit obsessed with dark blues in interiors at the moment and I still have fond memories of travels around Japan, so I was immediately drawn to these stunning Japanese prints. I plan to frame them as works of art in their own rights as they are just so beautiful. Worth checking out.
