Rainforest by Patrick Nadeau for Boffi

The French designer Patrick Nadeau created an other-worldly installation for Italian brand Boffi during the London Design Festival. Entitled ‘Rainforest’, it featured corian frames draped in a moss called Tillandsias usneoïdes, which Nadeau first came across whilst travelling in Uruguay.

The concept was to combine the high design with living plants to encourage the observer to integrate nature into their everyday life. Surreal, ethereal and beautiful, it certainly provided a stunning contrast to the sleek lines of the Boffi kitchens and bathrooms.
