The World of Interiors, July 2009

The July 2009 issue of The World of Interiors has a beautiful feature on table linen, shot on location at the Ashridge Estate in England. The shoot features gorgeous cloths and napkins from elegant stripes and checks to graphic motifs and antique embroidery. Some of my favourite fabrics featured here include the romantic ‘All-Over Design’ table cloth by Cologne & Cotton, from £75, the fun graphic ‘Fork’ runner, £28 by Re, the colourful cloths from Zara and Anthropologie and the exquisite 19th century lace cut-work tablecloth from Guinevere at £950. The bluebells on the Ashridge Estate are inspiration enough – I visited in May – and this shoot highlights the beauty of the woodlands as much as the fabulous fabrics. Just lovely.
