About me

I’m a writer, stylist and interior decorator based in London. I grew up in a home that was constantly evolving because my mother is an antique dealer and I was inspired from a young age by the beautiful things she would bring home. As I grew up, I started to accompany her on all her buying trips, learning the tricks of the trade and developing my love of eclecticism and design.

When I graduated with an arts degree, I began my career as an editorial assistant, eventually freelancing as a writer and assistant stylist. My love of interiors led me to train at the KLC School of Design in London and since graduating I have worked on interior design and decoration projects as diverse as a French country house in the Loire Valley to a fashion designer’s beautiful home and a television company’s offices in Soho, as well as freelancing as a writer and stylist.

I regularly write about interiors for the Telegraph magazine, You, Sunday Times Style, Easy Living and Red amongst others as well as several international titles. My new book, ‘Creative Living: London’, will be published this autumn by Thames and Hudson.

This site is an opportunity for me to share the things that inspire me and projects I’m working on. You’ll find photographs, articles, travel notes, shopping tips and advice, art and design and anything else I think is exciting in the world of interiors from the latest materials to unique vintage finds… I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy writing it.

If you’d like to talk to me about a commission or project please visit my contact page and get in touch.
